• Children's Ministry

Our kids are pretty amazing!  They are currently on a 3 year journey to go through the Bible from beginning to end, while managing to memorize verses and have fun at the same time.

We have Sunday School for children at 9:30am, and Children's Church at 10:50am.  For the children who choose to stay in the main worship service for the opening worship time at 10:50, we dismiss them to the children's ministry before the sermon begins.

  • Student Ministry

Students gather together for Bible study on Sunday mornings at 9:30 and on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm for some fun, prayer, and discussion.

    Who we are.

  • Senior Adults

Our ministry for senior adults is called Keenagers.  On the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every non-summer month, our keenagers get together for lunch, fellowship, a lesson, and some songs from the hymnal!  There is usually some kind of game or raffle, and everybody loves to pick on John, our emcee.

  • Outreach

Our outreach ministries are our chance to show love for the people outside our church.

    • Food pantry for the homeless.
    • Partnership with Manzano High to support the teachers, students, and their families.
    • "Feed the Kids" and "Follow the Son" are our weekly ministries to the children at Chelwood Elementary.
    • We do various events for our community throughout the year.
  • Group Bible Studies

Most of our groups meet on Sunday morning at 9:30am and you'll find people calling them "Sunday School classes."  We are starting to launch midweek groups, but there are several on Sunday morning already.  There's also a Sunday School for children (birth to 6th grade) in the children's wing and a youth group (7th-12th grade) in the youth building.  Group Bible Studies provide a place to do things you can't really do in the worship service... ask questions, get to know other people, pray for one another, etc.

  • Transportation

We're blessed to have two buses, which we use to pick up people who wouldn't be able to get to church otherwise.  Each bus comes in handy when we need to get to camps and other events.  Our volunteer drivers are worth their weight in gold!

  • Worship (Music)

If you are musically inclined, we have a choir that sings featured songs now and then.  For our worship service, we're always looking for people who can play instruments and sing!  The guys in our sound booth control the audio and the visual presentation of the church on Sunday mornings, which is very important.  They would love to show you the ropes if you are interested in helping.  The worship ministry is a great place to get connected and serve!
